Coles’ Retail Ready Meats (RRM) facility is a multi-species production facility, and forms part of the client’s strategic plan to develop best practice facilities to deliver a transformed meat offering to its customers.
The facility utilised the latest process technologies and applied lean manufacturing principals to all operational processes. The final design of the facility seamlessly and efficiently integrated the manufacturing process to ensure the highest quality and lowest cost to the customer.
The project comprised of the land, site infrastructure, building and civil works, building services and integrated process services, for the delivery of a world class processing and distribution facility. The base building works included the construction of all buildings, building services, process services and external works, including the associated pavements, car parking, landscaping and fencing. Approximately $15m of the integrated fitout was incorporated into the building works.
