CIP Constructions strengthens NSW offering with State Manager appointment.

CIP Constructions are delighted to introduce Scott Richardson as our new State Manager for NSW, joining the team to lead our Sydney division.

Bringing over 15 years of Construction experience, Scott will lead operations in NSW, as well as our commitment to an end-to-end construction solution for all projects, delivering the best outcomes for our clients and holding each team member to the highest CIP Constructions standards.

Previously at FDC, Scott has worked across all stages of the construction journey, including on project values up to $150m across industrial, retail, hospitality, commercial and high rise.

Scott will work closely with the business development team and other State Managers across Australia to ensure our complex projects continue to be delivered to the highest quality standards. Scott will also lead our experienced and established NSW team, based out of our Pyrmont office HQ.

Scott states “I am excited to be joining CIP Constructions in the capacity of NSW State Manager and working collaboratively with the team to continue to build the strong CIP Constructions brand. CIP bring together a vast range of people from diverse backgrounds, and I am confident that, together, we can deliver best in industry outcomes for our current and future client base.

Following a number of competitive wins, CIP Constructions are pleased to announce that we have expanded back to Perth to accompany our WA team as they deliver new builds for our repeat clients.

CIP Constructions have history in Western Australia, having operated in Perth and the Jandakot regions over a ten-year period. After a brief hiatus and of course a global pandemic, expansion plans are well and truly underway for CIP’s return. This return includes a brand new office in Perth, and several new hires across the state.

CIP’s expansion will be led by David Crowther, current Construction Manager for South Australia who has over 20 years experience in Industrial Construction, both in Australia and the United Kingdom. 

CIP Constructions have strong experience in Western Australia, having delivered several major projects in the Perth and Jandakot region. Such builds include Reece GE Oil & Gas and Kmart.

CIP Constructions announce award of Frasers Property Industrial’s new NTAW project in QLD.

CIP Constructions are pleased to announce the award of another major industrial build in Queensland, after being appointed builder of choice by Frasers Property Industrial for their National Tyre & Wheel (NTAW) facility in Berrinba.

 

Following a competitive tender, and fresh off the recently completed IVE Group facility, delivered by our Melbourne team, Frasers Property have chosen CIP Constructions and our Queensland team to deliver the brand new 21,018 sqm facility for tenant NTAW at Berrinba Logistics Park.

 

Features of the build include a spacious 21,018 sqm state-of-the-art warehouse, with a single storey main 418 sqm office, complete with EOT facilities and a fully equipped kitchen.

 

The build also includes an extensive outdoor area, complete with c. 9,000m2 concrete, 15m super awning and 88 car parking spaces.

 

CIP Constructions Construction Manager John Keane states “It’s great to be working with Frasers Property Industrial again in Berrinba. The Queensland market represents lots of growth opportunities for CIP Constructions and we are keen to get mobilising on site. We look forward to delivering another quality build and to handing over the keys to Frasers Property and National Tyre & Wheel.”

 

This build joins other CIP Queensland builds such as Meyer Timber and Charter Hall’s Southcott.

CIP Constructions announce award of construction contract for Conga Foods.

CIP Constructions is pleased to announce that, following a competitive tender, we have been awarded the construction contract for Conga Foods.

Our project team’s Italian knowledge may stop at “Ciao”, but we are looking forward to learning more as we deliver renowned grocery importer Conga Foods new refrigerated facility in Coburg.

Features of the build include a huge 5,000m2 refrigerated area, with 2,400m2 of that space being freezer area capable of reaching temperatures of -22 degrees. The facility will also incorporate further improvements in relation to stormwater management systems via the introduction of a 100,000L stormwater tank for site water and irrigation purposes. Refrigeration power demand will also be assessed for the introduction of a 300kw plus solar array.

We are looking forward to sharing more updates from the build and to working with Conga Foods closely over the coming months.

CIP Constructions attend Groundbreaking ceremony at Rubix Estate after being awarded build contract for Décor Facility by Frasers Property Industrial.

Our CIP Constructions Melbourne team braved the winter weather by attending the groundbreaking ceremony for our latest awarded build for tenant The Décor Corporation (“Décor”), in a ceremony hosted by developer and site owner Frasers Property Industrial.

The ceremony marks the start of building on the new 24,466 square-metre Décor site, which includes a 14,244 square-metre warehouse and a 1,245 square-metre office. The facility is located within Frasers Property’s existing 41.3-hectare Rubix Connect estate, conveniently located 3km to EastLink and 35kms from the CBD.

CIP were recently awarded the build contract for the site, which once finished will accommodate leading Global Homewares business Décor. The contract also involves the construction of two further speculative facilities with a total site area of 41,695 square metres.

The build also features over 11,000sqm of external heavy duty paving accommodating 4 dock leveller loading docks per warehouse as well as over 300 car parking spots.

Once completed, the build will be 5 Star Green Star Design and As-Built v1.3 certified by the Green Building Council of Australia thanks to the use of a rainwater capture and reuse system, as well as solar power (WHA 100kw, WHB 70kw, and WHC 100kw) and other green measures.
The facility’s office areas will have two green walls, with each outdoor area lined with Accoya timber and planter boxes, allowing tenants to personalise their outdoor space.

The award recognises Victoria’s strong demand for industrial space, as well as CIP and Fraser Property’s long partnership, which has seen them collaborate on numerous projects over the years, most recently on the Braeside Industrial Estate, which delivered a 30,823sqm print production and warehousing facility for ASX listed tenant IVE Group.

CIP Constructions Senior Project Manager Jim Connell states “Its great to be continuing our working relationship with Frasers Property Industrial and to be back on site with the team from IVE Group. The team are currently mobilising on site and are eager to get the crushed rock in place, laying the groundwork for the build to commence.”
